We are always looking for volunteers and organizations to sponsor and support our events.
Volunteer Opportunities
We are looking for volunteers who share our vision for youth mentorship, hospitality, and who can help us plan, organize, and socialize our events.

If your teen (13-18) is interested in a volunteer role, please have them fill out the internship application. We will look for professionals in the community who have experience in the role that interests your teen most and pair them up so they can learn these skills and have a volunteer role that helps the T1D community.

If you would like to lead a specific activity or teach a skill, let us know! This could be anything from leading a hike to teaching how to crochet.
If you have a passion for working with kids we’d love to have you volunteer at an event!

We have an amazing opportunity to partner with another organization that will provide free guitars. We want to provide some free lessons for them also.

Manage the details of getting a new event booked and scheduled.
Coordinate an event details with the venue manager/owner
Send any fees, deposits, paperwork, etc. to Admin
Get a head-count limit or other important criteria
Schedule events
Find a Hospitality Volunteer(s) for the Event
Find a Photographer for the Event
Enter the event info in the event calendar form

Be a friendly face to greet and take care of our event participants.
Print out sign-in / sign-out forms
Bring name tags and markers
Arrive at the venue 30-45 minutes before the event
Meet and thank the host
Setup any tables, chairs, food, or equipment needed
Greet participants as they arrive
Sign in all attendees and ensure they have any waivers needed and have acknowledged the photo release

Capture the moment.
Arrive 10-15 minutes prior to event
Take photos of the event, candid and staged, some for social, some that could be used as website assets.
Upload photos to Google Drive / Photos

Help design a coffee table book that highlights our community, events, and the benefits of community and resiliency for kids and teens with T1D. This coffee table book will be in the waiting rooms of Endo offices around the city.

Help maintain the website content, search engine and ad performance.
Update the website content and enter new events
Add meta data with applicable keywords that help our ranking on Google and other search engines.
Oversee the Paid Search campaign and budget to maximize Newsletter registrations.
Use Analytics to show the growth of our reach and subscriptions from Search Engines, Organic and Paid media.
