Free Guitars 4 Kids & JoyRX are hosting a free music worksop!

Music can give kids a fun and creative way to express how they’re feeling, connect with others, and communicate when finding the right words isn’t always easy. For kids living with diabetes or another chronic illness, having a space to be creative, connect, and just be themselves can be really meaningful.

Youth participants will get to take home a free guitar or ukulele!

This is a 2-Day Workshop. We encourage you to sign up for both days if you can.

Day 1 Schedule:

• Introduction

• Meet your class mates and connect

• Learn about the instruments (Ukulele and guitar)

• Break

• Choose your instrument (Uke or Guitar)

• Core concepts 

• String pneumonic devices 

• Finger Exercise 

• Basic Song Practice

• Closing Remarks
